Tarmac access – highly efficient especially for large artworks
The tarmac access is our VIP entrance and direct link between the Luxembourg High Security Hub and the cargo terminal of Luxembourg airport. This unique feature enables us to reduce risks to a minimum, thanks to fewer handling operations and shorter transit times between the airport and our warehouse. Regular sized artworks are transferred through the airside loading bays that can accept both aircraft pallets and individual crates.
When it comes to transferring outsize artworks, like this work travelling on an A-frame chassis, the tarmac access opens up to allow the handling agent LuxairCARGO to bring in their heavy lifting equipment.
We can guarantee to our clients a transfer time of less than 15 minutes to our clients, from their storage at the Luxembourg High Security Hub to the pallet build-up area of the Cargo Center, regardless of size or weight of the artwork.
